Thermoplastic Rest Splint is a healthcare product designed specifically to keep the hand and wrist stable in the resting position.
This splint keeps the hand and wrist at 30 degrees of dorsiflexion and normal flexion, and is used especially in the healing process of fractures after plaster casts, sprains and strains, and in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.
Made of thermoplastic material, the splint provides maximum comfort during use thanks to its terry cloth coating on the inner surface.
Indications Description:
- After Plaster for Fractures: By keeping the hand and wrist in the correct position during the healing process of the fracture, it reduces the risk of re-injury and accelerates healing.
- In Sprains and Strains: It reduces pain and contributes to the healing process by resting the damaged tissues of the hand and wrist.
- In Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fractures: It is used to reduce pain and deformations caused by the disease, and ensures that the hand and wrist remain in a more stable position.
Washing Instruction: To clean the Thermoplastic Rest Splint, the terry cloth cover can be wiped with a damp cloth. Thermoplastic material is water resistant, but should not be exposed directly to water. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals.

The Thermoplastic Resting Splint is designed to stabilize the hand and wrist in a resting position, especially after cast removal for fractures, in sprains and strains, and for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis.
Made from thermoplastic material with a towel fabric lining for maximum comfort during use, it holds the hand and wrist at 30 degrees of dorsiflexion and in a normal flexion position.
